Monday morning ramblings.

One week weigh in today, I lost 4.5 pounds. I'm happy with the results, and the scale is headed in the right direction, but I have to say I am a little disappointed in the number.

They say the older you get, the harder it is to lose, bollocks! I don't want to beat myself up about this, all in all it was a GREAT week; I was able to begin to get control of my horrific eating habits, and I exercised every day.

Does anyone keep a daily food journal? Your thoughts on it?

  1. 4.5 lbs. in one week is awsome!!! Especailly as we get older and it is harder to lose weight.
    I don't keep a food journal simply because I don't know what to do with it once I have it. Maybe it will keep me honest?

  2. I prefer keeping an exercise journal with occasional ramblings on what I ate and what kind of mood I was in if I felt it affected my workout. I don't want to put so much emphasis on food so much as I want to know how much I progressed in terms of strength, endurance, etc. Changing the emphasis changes my obsessions.
